About the Project

In order to encourage and celebrate children's appreciation of the visual arts, The Delaware Art Museum and Night Kitchen Interactive presented The Art of Storytelling: Bringing Visual Art to Life through Stories. The Project's aim was to inspire children's interest in visual art through an audio series of narrated stories.

The Art of Storytelling series featured participating writers, artists and dramatists telling stories about the visual art works. Stories were gathered via a "Call for Entries." Through an open juried exhibition process, stories were reviewed and selected for use in the project.
